If not cleaned, it returns them to your teeth immediately after brushing. It means that you will be doing zero work.

Eat the right foods for your oral health and to clean your teeth. Good oral health comes from a healthy body. Ensure that the diet is balanced to provide the teeth with necessary nutrients to grow strong. Eat detergent foods like apples, sugarcane, celery, popcorn and raw carrots to brush the teeth especially if you do not plan to clean them immediately after meals.

Do not use water to rinse your mouth. This is a common practice when a person brushes his or her teeth. Unfortunately, rinsing using water takes away all the fluoride that would have protected your teeth and gums. They will therefore be vulnerable to infections and diseases. The toothpaste should be left in place for up to thirty minutes. Take a beverage or food to eventually clear it.

There is a right technique to brushing. It comes with an angle and the right toothbrush. Use the brush to get to all corners of your mouth to maintain the right oral hygiene. Scrub up-and-down and back-and-forth to ensure that the entire tooth is covered during cleaning. The upper grinding surface must also be thoroughly cleaned.

Lack of regular checkup will cost you dearly. The fact that you are brushing your teeth on daily basis and even several times in a day is not a guarantee that they are healthy. There are organisms that may be domiciled in the mouth, leading to continued damage. Other problems may arise out of diet or injuries. With regular checkup, you can arrest these problems before they escalate.

Keep the mouth fresh at all times to enjoy good oral hygiene. Use high quality products as recommended by your dentist. Healthy teeth at adulthood start from childhood. When thinking about the teeth, you should see them as a part of your oral health. Oral health should then be considered a wider smaller part of overall health.
