The Manicure That Actually Lasts Longer Than The Rest

By Kevin Thomas

Make up is art, which goes in sync with manicures too. This little paints are used to beautify those bland looking nails making it look exciting. There nail arts that can be used to complement a certain outfit with the nails. But, no matter how much a woman loves to have the nails intact for quite a long time, if chores lie doing the laundry or washing up all the dishes are done very often, then it actually removes the manicure very easily.

However, there is this formula that was created that lasts longer than other nail polish formulas, it is dip powder nails. Yes, that is right, this is not a gel polish but instead a powdered base. Applying this could last minimum of two weeks and can last longer depending on the way of maintaining them.

Yes, it almost feels like a dream to have beautiful and artistic manicure that could last for two weeks or more. Just imagine not doing nails as often as every week. Although, the application procedure is a bit tricky and can take a longer amount of time than applying gel based manicure or nail art, the aftermath is proven worth all the efforts. This is the reason why it is trendy as of the moment.

If having plans to try this method for the first time, better yet think of the colors and types of powder that is aspired. Because, honestly speaking it can be pretty hard to choose from so many variations out there. The glitters are looking really pretty and sparkles but those matted polish are also fabulous and sophisticated. If a bit experimental, combining colors could suit the taste.

When the colors are all settled, sanitizing the hands before the actual application is the very first step done. Nails should not be oily so that the mixture would stick properly. Filing each nail would be great but is optional.

There are three chemicals that will be used as coats all throughout the procedure, this would include doing the same exact steps for like three times to get the result wanted. To start off, apply the first chemical. This is will dry off the remaining residue of oil on nails. After that apply the second base coat, one finger at a time because it dries easily.

Once all are dry, apply the second coat on each finger at a time and dip it on the powder. Do not put the second coat at once because it dries easily and powders will no longer stick if it is already dry. Now, notice that many mess are around the finger, after a good two to three minutes, brush it all over.

Now, the color on the nails are not that opaque yet, so apply the second coat again and dip each finger on the powder. Do this three times, and when it is done file the nail to even the surfaces. Rinse with water to remove the dirt that surrounds the hand.

The last part would be applying of the tap coat which happens to be third layer of chemical. This will serve as the natural polish that will gloss up the nails, apply twice. And, all set, there goes the pretty nail polish that lasts long.
